Gabriel Matos Cardoso Leite is researching new optimisation algorithms and heuristics to address energy problems more efficiently, such as optimal control and dispatch in microgrids. He is also investigating machine learning and reinforcement techniques for problems related to the control of energy storage systems and the incorporation of electric vehicles in microgrids.
