XVII Social Council Award for the Transfer of Knowledge University of Alcalá
On 8 June 2020, the 17th University-Society Knowledge Transfer Award of the Social Council of the University of Alcalá was granted to the GEISER Research Group participating in the PROMINT programme.
The 17th Social Council Award for Knowledge Transfer University-Society of the University of Alcalá, in the category of experimental sciences, has been granted to the work "Electronic engineering for a safe and sustainable energy future" presented by the GEISER Research Group, which is led by Francisco Javier Rodríguez Sánchez, coordinator of the PROMINT programme and principal investigator of this group participating in the programme.
The purpose of these awards is to strengthen the relationship between the university and society, seeking a greater and better connection between the university and the professional, economic, social and cultural spheres of its environment, through the valuation and recognition of research activity and the transfer of knowledge from the university to society, with an outstanding innovative character and a search for excellence.
The aim of this call for the 17th University-Society Knowledge Transfer Awards of the Social Council of the University of Alcalá is to reward research projects that involve a transfer of knowledge from the university to society.
