In 2021, two of the Master's Theses (TFM) directed by PROMINT researchers have been recognised for their excellence and quality.

Best Master's Thesis Award of the UAH Campus of International Excellence "Intelligent Energy" Universidad Rey Juan Carlos/Universidad de Alcalá (2021) to Miguel Tradacete Ágreda for his work "Implementation of a control and management system for a microgrid", directed by Francisco Javier Rodríguez Sánchez, PROMINT programme coordinator.

Accesit XVIII edition of the Master's Thesis Competition of the Colegio Oficial y la Asociación de Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid (2021) and Extraordinary Prize of the UAH to Sergio Pérez Bachiller for his work "Aplicación del estándar IEC 61850 para comunicaciones en microrredes eléctricas", directed by Carlos Santos Pérez, researcher of the GEISER group and Francisco Javier Rodríguez Sánchez, PROMINT programme coordinator.
