Young Researcher Dionysios Moutevelis

Dionysios Moutevelis has developed the following work within PROMINT:

  • Modelling of electrical distribution networks considering the effects of saturation and automatic tap changers.
  • Non-linear analysis for assessment of stability parameters and design of control system to achieve voltage support.
  • Design of primary voltage control based on virtual admittance and recursive secondary control for calculation of virtual admittance gains.
  • Reduced order modelling of power converters with virtual admittance controllers.

Most relevant articles related of his work and the doctoral thesis he will complete in autumn 2023 are:

  • Moutevelis, J. Roldan-Perez, M. Prodanovic and F. Milano, ” Taxonomy of Power Converter Control Schemes based on the Complex Frequency Concept” in IEEE Transactions on Power Systems. Accepted for publication.
