Young Researcher Marcial González de Armas

Marcial González de Armas has worked on the design and implementation of an energy management system for hybrid grids with renewable generation and battery storage. It has been possible to implement a generation optimisation algorithm in microgrids, integrating renewable generation and energy storage systems. Furthermore, integrating generation based on power converters with Grid-Forming type control, which allows the electricity grid to operate without the need for conventional generation connected to the grid.
